SmartScript is a Load Utility Wizard that is beyond brilliant. Revolutionizing Teradata
Loading, It uses BTEQ Import and Export to move data, Fastexport to export data
off in blocks, Fastload to load to empty tables in blocks of 64, and uses Multiload to
perform INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE and UPSERT capabilities to populated tables,
and load in 64 K blocks. SmartScript also uses Tpump to load populated tables at
the row level. This is done for their Active Data Warehouse strategy.
SmartScipt takes the complication out of building Utility Scripts. Our wizards allow
users to point and click, and with minimal typing actually build the load scripts.
They can then execute the scripts right from the Nexus.
