  Bascis Exam
I am new to Teradata but not new to databases. I have read the Basics book. What else do you recommend before taking the exam and how much does it cost?

Re: Bascis Exam
The exam costs $150. If you buy the Basic Exam book from Coffing or took the online basic class from teradata, you are very much on your way. In addition, take the free tests on this website, it will help you tremendously.

I just passed my test. The only thing I did is to take the online class and the practice test here.

Good luck!
