  Fixed width exporting in Queryman
Got a question that I was hoping you could answer. It seems simple enough, but I can't find anyone around here that can answer it and I can't find the answer on NCR's website.

I need to be able to export/save an answerset as a fixed width text file. I can see how queryman allows you to modify the delimiter you use, but I don't want a delimiter period. How can I tell queryman to not use any delimiter at all when exporting a file? Or is there some other way to accomplish this?

Thanks!
Steve

The way I did this was similar to the suggestion by Randy. I cast each variable as character and this made each field fixed length and therefore fixed length when I exported it.

Re: Fixed width exporting in Queryman
Since the answer set is constructed from the attributes being returned, the only way I can think of to make this happen is to create a one-off query, concatenate the attributes together, then export that answer set.
